Firstly, Qurban is sunnah Muaqqadah, highly encouraged to perform for those who have the means. However, those who like to perform on behalf of someone who passed away they are three (3) schools of thought:
However, based on the above, we can always offer the rewards of the Qurban to them, and our scholars have agreed on this. Yet Sahabah Ali bin Abu Talib, r.a. used to perform Qurban every year for our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW with two sheep.

After eid prayers, the Qurban will only take place on the 10th of Zulhijjah. But the timing might not be tally to our local time. So it is good to give one day allowance as a safe grace period to ensure that we can perform the complete Sunnah of not cutting any hair or fingernails before completing our Qurban. But please do remember that it is Sunnah to leave your hair and fingernails uncut from the 1st of Zulhijjah until you have fulfilled the Qurban. And it is not a compulsory action. It will not nullify your Qurban if you have to do so.
In Shah Allah. We will send messages to all Qurban participants whose Qurban was performed at the end of each day.
Sunnah Muaqqadah to slaughter two sheep for your son and a sheep for your daughter. It is highly encouraged only for those with means and ways. But it is not an obligation.
You can slaughter a sheep for Aqiqah this year and another one the following year or whenever you have the means.
Allah says, “Allah never burdens a person beyond his scope and capacity”.
( Al Baqarah 286).
The criteria for camel must be at least five (5) years, cow two years (2), goat one year (1) and sheep six (6) months. And it must not be disabled or infirm, that comes with broken legs, blind eye etc.
Qurban Nazar is a vow or commitment to carry out an act. The failure to fulfil the commitment results to take compensating actions. So if someone vows to perform Qurban as Nazar, he is obligated to complete the act. And for Qurban Nazar, the Sahibul Qurban is prohibited from consuming at all.
It is Sunnah for Sahibul Qurban to distribute 1/3 of the meat to the poor and destitute, 1/3 to feed people, and the other 1/3 for himself to consume. But he is not obligated to do that. It is in the form of Sunnah only.
You can only do it with his consent.
When you are registering and making payment for your Qurban, it is considered an act of intent to perform Qurban in the view of some scholars. However, if you still wish to make the proclamation, you can do this during registration or anytime before the Qurban takes place by saying in your heart, “ I am doing this Qurban for the sake of Allah “.
Both are the occurrence of the ibadah. However, Qurban is only done during the Hajj period, whereas Aqiqah is only done once in a lifetime upon the birth of a child.
The Aqiqah is Sunnah Muaqqadah is highly encouraged for the parent to do so for his son/daughter before Baliq/puberty. However, if someone realises that his parent skipped his Aqiqah for ignorance reason and already passed the Balig, he can perform Aqiqah for himself...
There is no prohibition from the Quran and Hadis about this issue. As we know, Islam promotes mercy, kindness, and wisdom towards humankind. It is also a form of Dakwah to the non-muslim society. Only that our scholars advised, we should prioritise the poor and destitute among the Muslims.
